A couple of days ago, my son was cleaning the Li’l Jillybird at the dock after finishing a charter. He spotted a young boy fishing off the dock with an oversized rig and no chance of catching anything. He called the boy over to the boat. He had some live pilchards in the live well, hooked one on a light spinning rod, threw a couple of live ones over the side, and told the boy where to cast. The boy quickly hooked up with a nice jack which he fought like a pro. And he caught another couple.
