Three years ago, we heard that homes in the Central Addition Neighborhood were going to be torn down. So my husband and I checked them out.One of the grandest homes, above, is the 1894 Fowler House. Turns out, it was not demolished. It was moved to a new location in the North End. When I took the photo, I thought it was sad the home was so neglected, but as it turned out, because the homes in the area were neglected, most of the original architecture was intact.
