The Teesdale Mercury has been the voice of the dale since 1854. It is independent of political parties, private interests and government.
The newspaper sells about 6,000 copies a week and reaches over 70 per cent of all households in its catchment area, offering our advertisers a fantastic opportunity.
Our philosophy has remained the same since the newspaper was founded – if it happens in Teesdale, it goes in the Mercury. We have a shop in Barnard Castle’s high street, selling stationery, gifts and newspapers. Source
