Inclement weather conditions in Charlotte, NC forced the Charlotte Checkers to close the game against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers to the public Wednesday night. Since the Tigers and the referees were already in town for the game, they decided to go ahead and play it in an empty Bojangle's Colliseum. Corporate office employees filled in for regular staff as camera operators, sound operators, etc. They ran the game as if there were a full crowd in attendance. Even the Kiss Cam was in operation.
