Why would the Federation have an endangered species law that compels ships to apprehend all individuals in a species that is going extinct through natural causes? #StarTrekDiscovery's writing is too often ridiculous
If Mudd can take control of Discovery so easily, why doesn't he just sell it to the Klingons and let them figure out the spore drive? How does Tyler know Stamets knows about Mudd? How does he know a time crystal is worn? Who writes this stuff?
@SeanPullen1 @callychaw @StevenSalzberg1 Thank you, too, for your thought-provoking comments. Invertebrates rely on diffusion to get oxygen throughout their bodies. It's too passive a system to be effective for large objects. Hence, bugs and simple plants (e.g. mosses) don't get very big.
Wouldn"t they have had to rearrange his anatomy? - 'Star Trek: Discovery': Is Ash Tyler Actually Voq?  http://comicbook.com/2017/10/31/star-trek-discovery-is-ash-tyler-voq/  via @ComicBook
@SeanPullen1 @callychaw @StevenSalzberg1 Transporters are also pragmatic - a plot device created for budgetary reasons and to make stories move along quicker. The spore drive story could have been replaced with something else and the series would still have got made.
