Mir Sadat, immigrated at the age of nine from Germany. Although Mir Sadat was born in Germany, his parents are from Afghanistan. The family settled in Southern California, where Sadat went to public school, and later an extensive collegiate academic career culminating in a PhD. from Claremont Graduate University. Recently as a government detailee, Mir Sadat served at the National Security Council in the White House. Previously, he served as a space policy strategist to the head of the U.S. Navy and as a space operations officer in the U.S. Tenth Fleet.
