What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means an opportunity to learn and to help others learn about the world around them, and the relationship they have with themselves.

Macbook, iPhone, pen, paper.

Twitter.
Who do you wish followed you?
Oprah.
Why did you become a journalist?
I am curious. I love learning about people. I learn about myself through them.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I actually didn't. I gave a speech for my high school's Amnesty International chapter and was then encouraged into taking up journalism.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
There are many but a memorable interview was with Billy Corgan, lead singer of the Smashing Pumpkins. It taught me to do be in the moment.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be curious. Be humble yet confident. And listen. Always listen.

Getting full access to the designer Tom Ford to do a half hour special on the luxury lifestyle show that I used to front on CNN.

Hasn't happened yet.

Hanging out with my 3 year old boy.
