@DogSpies @UCDBehaviorServ @ucdavisvetmed @sciam Ms Hecht, fascinating info in this superb book about how Amundsen managed to tidy up his base camp by using this tendency of dogs on his astonishing expedition to the South Pole.  https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/549488.The_Last_Place_on_Earth
Stop me if you've heard this before: $TSLA's accounting tends to underestimate its true debt. Superb analysis here.  https://seekingalpha.com/article/4139114-teslas-convertible-debt-accounting-vs-economic-reality
@SCSOP Demand is most certainly robust. For the $35K version $TSLA refuses to sell. As for the $50k+ version, meh.
@jasemurphy Yes, rigor is desirable, but Tesla has been opaque about many facets of the Model 3. Hence, any claim of rigor about Model 3 demand data would be make-believe. The author has not pretended to know more than he can know.
@jasemurphy Jason, the author is 100% up front about the limitations of the data with which he is working. The piece is by no means definitive, but it is intriguing. At the very least, it suggests some important questions; take a look at cparm's comments to the piece.
