A writer who goes the extra mile with the work to back it up.

Tireless. Fearless.

I live to write and write to live. Sports is my specialty. However, I've gotten as much enjoyment from assignments outside of sports.

A thinker who paints with words, I pride myself on the ability to create connections and relationships with those I cover and even more, my readers.

What was your first job as a journalist?

I started blogging in college from my couch on the topic of professional hockey, soon worked my way into the Philadelphia Flyers' press box.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

It means a love and passion that can only be put into an article with understanding of capabilities the written word have on an imagination.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

A laptop, cell phone, legal pad, reporter notebook and a black pen with a fine tip.
