👉TALES FROM THE BORDERLANDS by @telltalegames An oldie but only played it this year. Hands down the game I enjoyed the most. It was epic. It made me laugh. It made me cry. I loved those characters so much. It was a game truly rooted in friendship. I didn't want it to end. ❤️

👉 BURY ME, MY LOVE It's encouraging to see stories like this being told under the messenger-as-games model. There's an intimacy you develop with the characters you interact with mainly b/c you're so used to doing the same in real life. Nour's story is harsh, perilous, & 💔

👉STORIES UNTOLD by @_NoCode I see-saw between playing simulation & narrative games (as you can probably guess from this list). This one was up there in narrative 🎮that stood out for me this year. Atmosphere on this was fantastic. Games like this leave me feeling so inspired.
