@fifiharoon @omar_quraishi That's what it leads to. If one is concerned about the influence spouses may wield, we'll end up screening them, too, delving into their personal lives. It's fine to scrutinise what they do in public, esp what they do politically. But breaching privacy leads down an unseemly path
