You are already at the latest version Background/Objectives: Palliative Care is a key component to health care. In Brazil, the population has limited access to Palliative Care, and it remains a little-known subject. Last Aid Courses (LAC) for adults have been established since 2015 in 22 countries in Europe, Australia, America and Asia to improve the public discussion about death and dying and to empower people to participate in end-of-life care provision. In Brazil LAC started in 2020.
