Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, Dublin, intends to commit €75 million ($92 million) to China-Ireland Growth Technology Fund II that will target robotics and artificial intelligence, the €8 billion sovereign development fund said in a news release Friday. The fund will be jointly seeded with CIC Capital Corp., which will invest additional €75 million in Chinese technology companies looking to access the European market via Ireland and Irish companies expanding into China.
Christian Staub was named managing director of continental Europe at Fidelity International, a spokeswoman said. Mr. Staub will replace Jon Skillman on Aug. 6. Mr. Skillman was named head of global workplace investing at the company, a new position. "(Mr. Staub) has experience of running sizable distribution businesses and a deep understanding of the needs of European institutional clients," said Simon Haslam, interim president, in a news release.
London CIV, the pool of 32 local authority government pension funds of London boroughs, is looking for a global custodian, according to a notice on European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily. The £6.5 billion ($9 billion) pool is also seeking an administrator and depository services provider to support investments in alternative assets. The global custodian should also provide cash management. Firms are allowed to submit proposals for all three services. Proposals are due April 6.

Exact case matching or punctuation
If you're searching for a brand name or keyword that relies on specific punctuation marks or capitalization, you can

Use parentheses to separate multiple
boolean phrases. For example, to find journalists talking about having fun in Disney World or
Disneyland, search for ("disney world" OR disneyland) AND fun.
An asterisk can be used to search for any variation of a root word truncated by the asterisk. For example, searching for admin* will return results for administrator, administration, administer, administered, etc.
A near operator is an AND operator where you can control the distance between the words. You can vary the distance the near operation uses by adding a forward slash and number (between 0-99) such as strawberries NEAR/10 "whipped cream", which means the strawberries must exist within 10 words of "whipped cream".
