As a reporter for The Eagle-Tribune, a daily paper located just outside Lawrence, Massachusetts, I cover the nearby city of Haverhill.
In this small city of over 60,000, my beat focuses mainly on City Hall, but it often extends into the realms of crime, education, business, and feature reporting.

What was your first job as a journalist?

Reporter at The Westfield News, a small daily paper in western Massachusetts where I interned in college.

Who's your favorite fictional journalist?

Gus Haynes, city desk editor at The Baltimore Sun in "The Wire".

Why did you become a journalist?

I was an inquisitive kid and I've always been fascinated by people and the world around me.
