I'm shocked at how so many progressives are today repeating Trump's words, "The Democrats CAVED". I've seen that word used dozens of times today by people who are definitely not his allies. Trump thanks them. Profusely.
@billthenewguy I think they'll hold a hearing or two but when it comes to an actual vote, I'm not so sure. The GOP really doesn't want to put their stamp on this so close to the election.

What was your first job as a journalist?

I wrote features and a general/political column for a chain of six newspapers in western Wayne County, near Detroit, in the late 1970s.
