What was your first job as a journalist?

Newcastle Evening Chronicle community correspondent - 1 of 5 jobs I did to save for uni. Others involved cleaning and dishwashing. Fun times!

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes! A child's Olivetti typewriter when I was a kid. Loved it. Always played journalist.

How is social media changing news?

It's more fast-paced and stories are reaching people who may not have previously had access to them. A local event could go global.
