An Ontario couple who defrauded 107 people in a $265,000 fake Taylor Swift ticket scheme is scheduled to be sentenced on October 6, according to CP24 reporting. It's a case that shows how easy it is to fraudulently sell tickets in Canada before what is being sold is actually verified. Denise Tisor and her common-law partner, David Blake, pleaded guilty last month to fraud and possession of property obtained by crime.
