Given the low population around me, 400 meters would probably include fewer than 100 people, no more than 200. The odds of anyone in that number having dengue fever right now is very small. So I’m going to cling to this hope. This is why it’s more likely to spread in cities.
I have been bitten so many times by mosquitoes this weekend, but I discovered the Aedes Egypti has a flight range of approximately 400M, and to infect me with dengue fever would mean first stinging a carrier of dengue then me, is my understanding.
