John Pfeiffer is a name long associated with the music scene. Beginning in the late 80's, his role as songwriter/guitarist in popular New Jersey groups (In Between Dreams and Well of Souls) was instrumental in getting them the nod for “best original group” by NJ Monthly and The Village Voice.


What was your first job as a journalist?

I was a stringer for The East Coast Rocker.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

I prefer not to answer that question on the grounds that it may incriminate me

How is social media changing news?

Its providing scads of mundane content for lazy people that don't know or care what a newspaper is.
