there are 13 reservoirs on the Outaouais (Ottawa) River. So far everything is going well according #HydroQuebec. Less snow accumulated in 2018 compared to 2016 and 2017.
At the Carillon dam, #HyrdoQuebec officials can hold back water for 30 to 60 minutes at a time and then it has to be released. It's an electrical generating station and doesn't have a large enough reservoir.
Outaouais (Ottawa) River is 1,600 Km long. 60% of water flowing into the river basin is natural and can't be controlled. #HydroQuebec
