How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?

Via phone by someone who knows what they're talking about.

Why did you become a journalist?

I love researching, reporting, and learning new things. It's fun. I also hope my stories can make an impact in some way.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I wrote one or two articles for it as part of an elective course, but I was not a staffer.
