What was your first job as a journalist?

I began interning at the Lee's Summit Tribune, a locally owned paper in my town, the summer before my junior year of high school.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes. My personal typerwriter is a Remington Rand De Luxe Model 5.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

A journalist does whatever it takes to tell the stories that need to be told.
