Power ultrasound for enhanced particle dispersion and mechanical performance in cement-based materials: a quantitative image analysis approach
Abstract The performance of cement-based materials heavily relies on the uniform dispersion of particles, yet traditional methods often fall short in efficiency. This study investigated the use of power ultrasound to improve particle dispersion in cement paste and the mechanical performance of cement-based materials.
Regulating interface electric field to stabilize high-voltage KVPO 4 F positive electrode for sustainable potassium-ion batteries
Abstract Fluorophosphates have garnered widespread attention in potassium-ion batteries due to their robust three-dimensional frameworks and high operating voltage. However, their practical implementation is restricted by inherent limitations, including low conductivity and an unstable cathode electrolyte interface. Herein, we propose an interfacial electric field regulating strategy to stabilize the cathode electrolyte interface of the KVPO4F positive electrode material.

Recent advances in potassium metal batteries: electrodes, interfaces and electrolytes
Recent advances in potassium metal batteries: electrodes, interfaces and electrolytes The exceptional theoretical capacity of potassium metal anodes (687 mA h g−1), along with their low electrochemical potential, makes potassium metal batteries (PMBs) highly attractive for achieving high energy density. This review first provides an overview of potassium metal anodes, including their origin, current development status, and distinctive advantages compared to other metal anodes.

A novel nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide-bonded Sb nanoparticles for improved sodium storage performance
As a promising anode material for sodium-ion batteries, Sb has attracted considerable attention due to its high theoretical capacity (660 mAh g−1). However, it exhibits poor cycling stability because of its great volume change during sodium ion uptake and release process. In order to solve the problem, using the ionic liquid Emim-dca as nitrogen source, a novel nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide-bonded Sb nanoparticles (Sb/N-rGO) is produced by ball-milling and subsequent pyrolysis treatment.
