>>finally, tonight, our bright spot shines on a local lifesaver. our lady of mercy student adalyn cross is being recognized for saving a toddler's life by performing cpr while on a trip to new york city for her 18th birthday last week. adalyn and her family came across a frantic crowd and discovered a two year old boy was choking. she immediately jumped into action and started cpr. amid that growing crowd, an ambulance arriving just as the boy started to move his wrists and color returned to his lips. the boy's family texted adalyn the next day, thanking her for everything and letting her know he was okay. a true, inspiring, bright spot for not only saving that young boy's life, but also having the confidence to be a true leader in an emergency. great job. >>that's amazing. >>live music and that story both give me the shivers. yes.
