UPDATE: The Washington Commanders will start rookie Sam Howell for their final regular-season game on Sunday (January 8), the team announced on its official Twitter account Wednesday (January 4). "QB Sam Howell will start on Sunday," the Commanders tweeted. The team's decision comes after previous reports that Taylor Heinicke would reclaim the starting job from Carson Wentz, who was expected to be inactive and Howell would finish Sunday's game.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is raising the reward to $500,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspect who left pipe bombs in Washington D.C., the night before the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. The reward was previously set at $100,000. Authorities released photos and videos of the suspect planting pipe bombs near the headquarters of the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee.
