Thomas Rhett has earned his 24th career No. 1 this week as “After All the Bars Are Closed” tops the country charts. “After All the Bars Are Closed” is the second single from Rhett’s seventh studio album About A Woman, which he has expanded twice with six brand-new tracks.

Falling in Reverse has shared the single “All My Women” featuring country rock star Hardy. The track follows the band’s previous hit single “All My Life” featuring Jelly Roll, which spent five weeks at the top of the rock radio charts and debuted at No. 1 across Billboard’s hard rock charts. Keith Urban has released “Straight Line,” the second song from his forthcoming live album via MCA. The song, originally released in February of 2024, was the first single from his 11th studio album High and serves as the opener on his High and Alive World Tour, which has been in full swing since May. He will launch the final leg of the tour in the United States on September 25th.

Brad Paisley and Emmylou Harris are among the songwriters set to be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on October 6th during the 55th Anniversary Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala held at the Music City Center in Nashville. Also included in the new class are: Steve Bogard and Tony Martin in the contemporary songwriter category; Jim Lauderdale in the contemporary songwriter/artist category; and Don Cook in the veteran songwriter category.

Country-pop artist Dasha returns with her latest single, ‘Like It Like That,’ alongside the official music video starring Love Island’s Rob Rausch. “Like It Like That” was written by Dasha with David Garcia, JKash, and Gian Stone, and follows the previously-released tracks “Not At This Party” and “Oh, Anna!,” the first two singles from her upcoming project.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that Tom Cruise, Debbie Allen and longtime Spike Lee collaborator and production designer Wynn Thomas will receive honorary Oscars at the 2025 Governors Awards. In addition, Dolly Parton will receive the Academy’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. (per Deadline.) The Oscar statuettes will be presented in a ceremony for the 16th annual Governors Awards on November 16 at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Ovation Hollywood.

Zac Brown Band has announced two additional Las Vegas Sphere shows as they become the second country act to perform at the Sphere The limited engagement is set to take place on December 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th, 2025; with newly-added shows scheduled for Friday, January 9th, and Saturday, January 10th as part of their limited engagement due to popular demand.
