It has been far too long since I have been able to nerd out about Warframe, but happily, those cold, hard days are gone. For today, we discuss the cold, hard days ahead, as Digital Extremes have shown off a bit of what we can look forward to in Iceblade of Narin, coming September 23rd. Players will head back to the Zariman shipwreck and dive into the history of Narin, the 66th Warframe.

Or rather, Garena International II is. And in case you were worried the mobile iteration was going to dial down the cartoon violence, let’s not forget Garena are the hands behind the acclaimed shooter Free Fire.

When Mega Lucario was added to Pokémon Go, it is safe to say the game peaked. They are the best Mega and one of the best Pokémon, alongside Eevee. And yet, The Pokémon Company continues to add more. Prepare to enter the Twilight Trails season, a land of birds and lightning apparatus. This new season will kick off September 8th and last until December 1st, introducing us to two new Megas.

To put a toe out of the mobile world for one moment, Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is set to release in two months and looks spectacular. You would think people would be devouring Castlevania content as a result. And yet, Konami has decided to shutter the mobile entry Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls. If you've never played it, Grimoire of Souls was an old-school-inspired Castlevania adventure, with the side-scrolling and everything.

As a long-time fan of the franchise, I am delighted to see Digimon popping up multiple times lately. Yes, sadly, one was the god-awful Digimon Up, which I am convinced was developed by undercover Pokémon Company goons to make Gabumon look bad. Hopefully our favourite monsters will redeem themselves on August 18th, in a collaboration with AFK Journey.

Since the 1.0 version launched, I have been playing quite a bit of Palworld. To the point where I am vastly overleveled for where I am in the world. Unfortunately, when playing, where I am in this world is my couch. Taking Palworld on the move is a bit of a faff, but not for much longer, thanks to the upcoming Palworld Online. Developers and publishers Garena Online Private Limited announced they have the official licence from Pocketpair Inc to create an MMO outing for mobile.

It has been a long week, and what better way to celebrate the weekend than a daunting decision about which child soldier to shove into a giant cannon to use as a missile? It will all become clear soon, as Fuga: Melodies of Steel has launched on mobile. Set in a land of anthropomorphic dogs and cats, the Berman Empire has almost eradicated Petit Mona village. The only survivors are six children, who band together and manage to board the Taranis, a giant tank-like mech.

I have always been a big fan of MMORPGs, and inside that, Final Fantasy XIV. I also think games like Albion Online and RuneScape show you can successfully get these massive games on mobile. So, I was excited to try out Final Fantasy XIV Mobile when it eventually emerged from China. And yet... It appears that Square has Enixed it up, as the Chinese version, the only country it was in, has closed down.

Digimon Up has been released today, and you can download it from the App Store or Google Play. It is an idle game where you select one of an actually decent selection of Digimon to level up and Digivolve. Great, that is the news part of this out of the way; onto the important bit. I can sum up Digimon Up in two words: don’t bother. It is a game that rattled me so much that I am turning this into an ad hoc review. What rubbish this is. It is an idle game that is so idle it borders on pointless.

Yes, once again, the giants are killing a mobile game; this time, it is Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. And news just in, the sky continues to be blue, and the grass green.
