The UK public EV charging consumer app Bonnet has been acquired by the energy company OVO. Bonnet’s technology brings together nationwide public charge point operators into one app. Over 80% of the UK’s charge points available on the Bonnet app. It allows UK EV drivers access to over 27,000 chargers at 7,000 locations. EV drivers can locate, use and pay for public charge points without switching between different cards or logins. Bonnet is headquartered in London, with operations across Europe.

Nissan has confirmed that all three models made at its UK plant will go 100% electric. The announcement means the EV36Zero hub in Sunderland, Nissan’s blueprint for future manufacturing, will consist of three electric vehicles (EVs) and three battery gigafactories.
