A 77-year-old man died after being struck Thursday night near Mercer University Drive. His name has not been released. MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 77-year-old man died Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle on Lilly Avenue near Mercer University Drive. It’s Macon-Bibb County’s 16th pedestrian death this year, according to Coroner Leon Jones. The crash was reported around 7:36 p.m., according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
