Collingswood, N.J. — A Camden man is facing multiple charges after authorities say he and an accomplice broke into a Collingswood home, beat an elderly man in his 80s while demanding gold coins, then dragged him upstairs to where his wife was lying on the floor with a bag over her head. 32-year-old Jose Sanabria was arrested on July 8th in Philadelphia by the U.S. Marshals Service and is being held in Pennsylvania pending extradition to New Jersey.

Trenton, N.J. — A Parsippany man who opened fire on federal agents executing a search warrant at his home has been sentenced to 24 years in federal prison. Earlier this week, 44-year-old Maloy Amador was sentenced to 288 months behind bars following his guilty plea to four counts: attempted murder of a federal officer, discharging a firearm during a crime of violence, possession of firearms by a convicted felon, and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.

Monroe Township, N.J. — A 99-year-old woman died after police say an 86-year-old Williamstown man drove through a red light and crashed into another vehicle at a Gloucester County intersection. The crash happened at about 8:45 PM Wednesday at the intersection of the Black Horse Pike/Route 42 and Lake Avenue.
