It wasn't the ideal start to a new school year. Day 1 of term 1 at Taminmin College saw students sent home after a non-suspicious electrical fire caused extensive damage to one of the main buildings. The damage is worse than was first estimated, and it is likely the repairs won't be made until the start of the school year 2023.
