Rent is usually the single biggest payment renters make each month, and how it gets paid can shape whether that due date is routine or stressful. Unlike a lot of smaller recurring charges, paying rent still often requires active effort: logging into a portal, writing a check, or remembering to hit send before a deadline. Some renters have never considered putting their rent on autopay. Others have thought about it but hesitate. Is it worth it? For many renters, the answer is yes.

The Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon has announced a new solo album called Not Bad For New Jersey. The record is due out Sept. 10. It's the follow-up to 2021's Night Divine. "From the beginning I knew I had to fully lean into the passion and lunacy of all these songs I felt inspired by – there wasn't much room for subtlety," Fallon says in a statement. "There was so much childlike joy in writing and recording all these songs.

Jack White has officially announced his new album, Frozen Charlotte. As previously reported, a preorder link for the album quietly went live Tuesday on the Third Man Records site. White has now confirmed that the album is indeed called Frozen Charlotte and is due out on July 10.

Jack White appears to have stealth-announced a new album. The "Seven Nation Army" rocker's label, Third Man Records, lists a new record titled Frozen Charlotte up for preorder on its website alongside a July 10 release date. "13 tracks of distinct feel and tone, Frozen Charlotte is an intense rock and roll punch with never far behind blues underpinnings…all of which fits right at home with long time fans while leaving an inviting open door to newcomers alike," the product description reads.

Jack White is returning home to Detroit for Thanksgiving. The "Seven Nation Army" rocker, who was born in the Motor City in 1975, will perform during halftime of the Detroit Lions' annual T-Day game. The Lions will host the visiting Green Bay Packers on Nov. 27, airing at 1 p.m. ET on Fox. White's halftime performance follows his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The White Stripes. While bandmate Meg White wasn't in attendance, Jack delivered a speech during the Nov.
