Kelsea Ballerini's new "dream home" is already familiar to some fans of country music. The house previously belonged to Kacey Musgraves, who featured it in a magazine photo spread before selling it to her fellow country singer. Celebrity real estate site Dirt.com reports that Musgraves sold her former home to Ballerini in a private sale, citing grant deeds as their source.

LeAnn Rimes has marked many career milestones over the years, but the time she performed for a Pope surely stands out in her mind. Rimes was just 17 years old when she hit the stage on Nov. 25, 1999, to perform as part of the lineup for a special Thanksgiving Day concert in Rome.

Just in time for the holidays, Shania Twain is revisiting her classic Come on Over album from 1997, and repackaging the original track list with some live superstar duets. According to People, a new deluxe edition of Come on Over expands the track list to include some duet versions of its songs that she has performed live over the past few years. One of those dates back to 1999: It's a live performance of "You're Still the One" that Twain gave in Miami from superstar pop duet partner Elton John.

As the holiday weekend winds down, Thomas Rhett and his family are still giving thanks. The singer's wife, Lauren Akins, shared a sweet family photo on Saturday (Nov. 26) that features all four of the couple's kids, and their two dogs to boot. Kona and Cash -- a Catahoula Leopard dog and chocolate lab, respectively -- pose on either side of the children in the photograph.

The Colorado State Rams ended their season on Friday afternoon on a high note with a 17-0 shutout win over the New Mexico Lobos. It hasn't been the easiest of seasons for the Rams but over the last 5- 6 weeks the team played hard and never quit and that's a tribute to head coach Jay Norvell and his coaching staff and the players, especially the seniors like Dequan Jackson who is this week's and the season's final player of the week.

Well we are coming up on December and it is Colorado so I think it's safe to say it's to be expected when you live about a mile high above sea level. After some pretty mild temperatures over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, reality is about to set in (at least for a couple of days this week) as a massive cold front is expected to drop some snow and send temperatures into a free fall to near zero and even a little below zero overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We love recognizing local student athletes, especially when they do something as epic as winning a state championship. The Eaton Reds football team not only won a state championship over the weekend, they did it for the third consecutive year as their run of dominance in the 2A division continues in the entire state of Colorado and they put an exclamation mark on the season by capping it off with a big three-peat on Saturday.

There are several abandoned mines in Colorado including one very iconic mine located along I-70. If you've ever traveled I-70 through Idaho Springs you have probably passed by one of the most iconic abandoned mines in the state, but do you know about its past - or better yet its future? Native Americans and original settlers are responsible for giving names to most of the states in the country. It's easy to tell why certain states were given their names, but others are more of a mystery. And some states almost wound up with completely different names than what we know them to be today. Wyoming is one of those places.

Colorado is home to some pretty impressive cave systems. Did you know Colorado is home to about 600 caves in all? Some are meant for beginners while others are elaborate labyrinths of tunnels that burrow deep into the earth. Did you know the longest cave in Colorado is not far from Grand Junction? Discovered in 1968, Colorado's Groaning Cave is a gigantic system that stretches out for miles under the earth and is still being surveyed even today.
