KXMA-TV's news bureau and advertising sales office are located at the intersection of West Villard Street and State Avenue North in Dickinson, and its transmitter is located southwest of the city. As Dickinson is located in the Mountain Time Zone, the station's prime time schedule starts at 6 p.m. rather than the usual 7 p.m. start for the rest of Mountain Time, or in Central Time, where most of North Dakota is located.
