HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KPRC) - A Texas man is facing charges after deputies found his 73-year-old mother’s body stuffed into a duffel bag during a welfare check. Arman Malik, 34, has been charged with murder and tampering with a human corpse after Harris County Sheriff’s deputies found his mother’s body stuffed in a duffel bag, according to court records. The victim has been identified as 73-year-old Dyna Guadalupe Sorto De Malik.

GRANVILLE, Vt. (WCAX/Gray News) - Authorities say a Vermont mother and her 20-year-old son were killed in a home explosion that happened during a birthday party. Vermont State Police identified the victims as 46-year-old Sarah O’Sullivan and her son, 20-year-old Liam O’Sullivan. The explosion happened around 7:45 p.m. Saturday in Granville during a birthday party for one of the O’Sullivans.
