Photo: Clackamas County Sheriff's Office A dramatic standoff unfolded south of Portland when a SWAT team used its armored vehicle to pin a tractor driven by Erik Gordon Shunn, a 53-year-old man accused of firing more than 200 rounds near his Oregon City home. The incident began when deputies responded to reports of gunfire on South Rocky Bluff Lane, finding that Shunn had allegedly shot at tree workers cutting down trees near his property, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

Neighbors Lift Car To Rescue Trapped Woman After E-Bike Crash
Photo: victorass88 / iStock / Getty Images Neighbors and workers rushed to rescue a 44-year-old woman after she became trapped under a Volkswagen Beetle following an e-bike crash in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania. The woman, a Ridley Park resident, collided with the car while riding her e-bike at an estimated 20 to 25 mph. The crash occurred around 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

Shelly Thorburn shared doorbell camera footage of the incident, which shows the large moose running toward her and her pets in the backyard. The encounter took place as Thorburn let her dogs outside and was surprised by the presence of a mother moose and its calf nearby. Thorburn acted quickly when the moose charged.
