Wildland fire near Great Falls burns 200 acres
GREAT FALLS, Mont. - A wildland fire burned off of Spring Trees Rd, west of Flood Rd near Great Falls on Thursday. Cascade County Sheriff’s Department reported that the fire burned around 200 acres, and Montana DNRC sent a helicopter to work the fire. There are currently no evacuations in place. NonStop Local is reaching out to local fire departments to get more information, but a reporter on scene stated that crews were putting out hot spots when he arrived.
