JUL 02, 2026 Oculoplastics/Orbit Conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy (CDCR) with permanent tube implantation (Jones tube) is the standard treatment for refractory proximal lacrimal obstruction (RPLO), but its use is often associated with a high rate of complication and low patient satisfaction. A tube-free technique may be an alternative to traditional CDCR for relieving tearing secondary to canalicular RPLO.
