At a very young age, Myanmar born Ruby Ni Chin had her life turned upside down. She was just nine years old when her family sought refuge, and moved to Australia. She's now training to become a doctor, completing her rural placement in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Ruby told Ivo Da Silva she hopes to one day return to Myanmar, and provide support for communities with limited access to healthcare.
For the remote communities of Warburton and Cosmo Newberry, in central Western Australia, the Great Central Road is the only way in and out of town. The route contains large sections of unsealed road. Earlier this year, the State Government promised funding to seal the remaining sections. However, regular travellers are calling for faster action. Wiluna resident Tim Carmody told Asha Couch the state of the road is putting remote communities at a significant disadvantage.

Lost & Hound is a video game that has been designed from the start to be playable by people who are deaf, or blind, with systems which allow them to navigate. It's been tested by blind gamer Deng Lor, who is based in Colorado, who said it's fun and relaxing to be a rescue dog and navigate the world by sound.
