Australia will be represented by six teams at the upcoming Asia Cup, to be held in Goa, India from 22–27 June. The Asia Cup is an important event on the international bridge calendar and provides a valuable opportunity for our leading players to compete against strong opposition from across the region.

Australian youth bridge players have delivered an outstanding set of results at the RealBridge “Summer” Youth Festival, competing against a strong international field featuring teams and players from across the world. U31 / U26 / U21 Teams Australia finished 1st and 2nd overall in a 27-team field. U16 Pairs Ada Sun and Alex Wu claimed silver in a 13-pair field.

At the recent AGM, Allison Stralow completed eight years as President of the Australian Bridge Federation. Stepping into the role is Stephen Fischer. Stephen has represented Australia in international competition and has been involved in bridge administration for more than 20 years, serving in a variety of roles at club, state and national level. He brings extensive experience in strategy, governance and leadership through his work in government, the corporate sector and on not-for-profit boards.
