BUDDY shows Casper Kelly as a fresh voice in nostalgia horror, blending tropes from children's television, Internet Creepy Pasta, fever dreams, and creature features. Everyone involved, from Quinn to BUDDY voice actor Keegan-Michael Key (KEANU, "Key + Peele'), Patton Oswalt (THE FAN, "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD"), Cristin Milioti (PALM SPRINGS, "The Penguin"), and Topher Grace (PREDATORS, "That 70s Show") are firing on all cylinders to craft a narrative that is as familiar as it is subverted.

Hey friends! Barbarella here. Sometimes I feel as though I watch too much dark content. Don’t get me wrong: I love a true crime docuseries or a grisly horror movie, but every now and then, I need something a little lighter to balance things out. DOUBLE TROUBLE, starring Madeleine McGraw, Violet McGraw, Azizi Donnelly, Jack Griffo, and Andrew Koji, looks like it could be a fun alternative to all the doom-and-gloom content I typically absorb.

Hey friends! Barbarella here. Sometimes when a horror franchise goes on for ages, the stories tend to disintegrate. Since I generally require something with a good story, I have very low expectations going into INSIDIOUS: OUT OF THE FURTHER. However, the movie surprises me in how entertaining I find it. Starring Amelia Eve, Brandon Perea, and Lin Shaye, the movie hits theaters on Friday, August 21.

Hey friends! Barbarella here, and I have to say that I'm always excited when something I caught and really dug at a festival gets distribution. APPOFENIACS may not be the easiest title to say, but the film proves entertaining and timely. It presents the real life consequences of posting fake videos online, and it just gets crazier and crazier. While a lot of fun, the themes around it prove thought-provoking and disturbing in a world where fake videos become more and more convincing.

I can’t lie: I’ve been dragging my feet on this one. By now you’ve probably already heard a great deal about Eli Roth’s THE ICE CREAM MAN if you were at all interested in the project, and most of it is bad. I’m here to tell you that a lot of what you’ve heard isn’t wrong. The AI, the tastelessness of some of the beats in the film, and the anachronistic tone and humor.

Hey friends! Barbarella here! Horror has really upped its game lately, and I'm loving a lot of the horror that is out there right now. I'm also excited to share this trailer for OTHER MOMMY because this looks like one of those crazy films that I will probably love. Will I love it more than OBSESSION? That remains to be seen. I guess, it depends on whether or not it delivers on what the trailer promises. I'm rooting for Blumhouse to have a win with this one. Check it out!
