African Journal of Midwifery and Women's Health

African Journal of Midwifery and Women’s Health (AJM) is dedicated to improving maternity care and maternal, newborn and child health in Africa. The quarterly journal is aimed at midwives, nurses and traditional birth attendants across the continent and promotes evidence-based best practice in order to improve health care in the region. Each article featured in the journal is peer reviewed by some of the leading figures working in African health care, with topics ranging from prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV and male support during pregnancy to health screening and family planning.
