More than 160 groups from the three countries signed a letter to their trade representatives. In the letter, they said CUSMA has benefitted all three countries, has removed trade obstacles and increased regulatory transparency. Without it, they said North America is more vulnerable to restrictive trade policies from other countries.

I must admit, the weather models didn’t do that great of a job with last week’s forecast. The models got the general pattern correct but were off on how cold the Arctic high became over Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Klassen: Stronger fed market to pull up feeder complex
The Alberta fed cattle market was quoted on a live basis in the range of range of $262-$265/cwt fob feedlot last week. Fed cattle forward contracts for March and April delivery (Alberta) were quoted from $270 to $272/cwt. Compared to last week of November 2024, fed prices are up $20/cwt on average. Strength in the fed market has pulled up feeder cattle prices for all weight categories.
