The announcement, made by Apple’s new CEO John Ternus, marks the biggest redesign of the iPhone since its 2007 debut and puts Apple in direct competition with Samsung, which has dominated the foldable phone space for several years.

When firefighters arrived, there was a large column of smoke. The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes. There were no injuries. Owner Mark Michaelson says it'll be devastating for his small business. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
