Search ArticlesDemocrats Are Gaming Medicare Costs This Election Year
It’s a captivating story, but one that conveniently obscures an inconvenient truth. On July 29, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) unveiled a startling revelation: Medicare Part D “bid” rates — essentially, the monthly cost of providing coverage to the average senior — were poised to leap from $64.28 in 2024 to a staggering $179.45 in 2025. That’s a 180 percent increase in one year. As bid rates surge, seniors’ premiums inevitably follow suit.
Democratic-Appointed Judges Highly Critical of New Title IX Reg
WASHINGTON / August 28, 2024 – On April 19, the U.S. Department of Education issued its long-awaited Title IX regulation (1). Media accounts have generally classified supporters of the rule as “liberal,” while opponents of the policy categorized as “conservative.” (2) But subsequent judicial rulings have cast doubt on this convenient stereotype. Over the last three months, 10 lawsuits have been filed against the controversial policy.
Border Wall Stance Reverses, Harris Backs $650M Funding Bill
DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION—Vice President Kamala Harris has reversed her position on spending hundreds of millions of dollars to build a wall along the southern border, Axios reported Tuesday. Harris is now in favor of building a wall after being attacked repeatedly by former President Donald Trump for presiding over an unprecedented surge in illegal immigration to the U.S. as the Biden-Harris administration’s unofficial “border czar,” according to Axios.
Elon Musk Leads Parade of Tech Titans Boosting Trump as the True 'Freedom Candidate'
A shocking partisan switch is underway in the stratosphere of the tech titans: The industry known for its wokeness is betting big bucks on a Republican. Last week former President Donald Trump gave a thumbs up to the notion of teaming up with billionaire innovator Elon Musk if he wins in November. Hours later, Musk posted a message on X: “I am willing to serve.” Elon Musk for commerce secretary? Or perhaps for the newly created position of free speech czar?
Why America Must Not Entrust Its National Security to Kamala Harris
Following Kamala Harris’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention last week, Slate columnist Fred Kaplan described the vice president’s remarks on foreign policy as “among the most muscular delivered by any candidate at a Democratic convention in living memory.” But the past three and a half years show that Harris lacks the record to back up that supposedly “muscular” rhetoric.
Jefferson, Religious Freedom, and Schools
Thomas Jefferson is often misunderstood on religion. Dubbed a Deist, Unitarian, and Rationalist, he was often contradictory, even in private. He believed in a benevolent God and saw Him everywhere. He viewed his “wife in heaven” as an “angel,” yet missed the Trinity, Resurrection, Holy Spirit, and traditional Christianity. What he did believe in was religion, free exercise of it – lest we forget.
Kamala Harris’s Empty Calories Campaign
We’ve all heard the familiar warning from our mothers: “Don’t fill up on empty calories!” Pigging out on sugary and fatty foods with no nutritional value is a surefire way to end up hungry before bedtime. But that’s exactly what America is at risk of doing if voters elect Kamala Harris this November. Kamala Harris last week became the first modern major party politician to “win” a primary without earning a vote.

BFA Podcast EP 304 | Kenny Cody “The DNC’s antics are so out of touch with the average American.” Political strategist Kenny Cody joins host Matt Kane to break down the 2024 election landscape, calling the DNC a “celebration of tyranny and weirdness” and highlighting its out-of-touch antics such as vasectomies on site. He contrasts this with the RNC’s “patriotic spirit,” praising its effective organization.
Who Is ‘Destroying Democracy in Darkness?’
Elections , Newsline | | 0 Comments | The 2023-2024 campaign season is not just the strangest on record, it’s also arguably the most anti-democratic. Ostensibly, the Democratic Party has claimed over the last decade that former President Donald Trump posed a continued and existential threat to the republic. That allegation subsequently justified a variety of anti-democratic means to neuter his first two presidential candidacies, his presidency, and now his third and final run for the White House.
