Well, I've gotten used to sometimes the Pixel update taking a few days... weeks even... into the month before we get it. Then I see there's a Pixel Drop for September with 5 new features. They announce it September 1st, and my phone gets the update right away. I've never ever got it right away, let alone an update on the 1st of the month. I download and read over what to expect... and none of it is there. Check the Play Store update, the Google Services update...
Is this a new media picker on the Pixel 11
I'm really wishing I can leave the PC world behind. I'm so close. Were it not for work and the occasional need of a very specific piece of PC only software, I would be able to leave it all and go straight to a mobile platform. What's really helping is not just the evolving platform and support for more web/progressive apps, but the better and better hardware. Not just phones, but the laptops. I'm still loving my Pixelbook every moment, despite its age it still performs very well.
Pixel 11 feature - Rambler
Here's a great new feature from Pixel 11s that should be a hit with some people. Rambler. The idea here is that you can just talk to your phone and have it input the text. That part's not new. What's new is now Gemini parses through what you said, eliminates what you want it to eliminate, gets rid of those umms and ahhs, and comes up with the 'intent' of what you said. Check it out.
Pixel 11 feature - Media Translate
I do enjoy having a 'smart house'. Our vacuum, our speakers and displays, and even bettte as it's nearing the time for deliveries (Christmas ordering) having a security camera (or 2) to help monitor things. I was approached by the folks at Rebluum to look over their solar powered camera. I was hesitant as I've had purely solar powered items (flood lights etc...) and never been something I wanted to rely on.

3 UAG Cases for the Pixel 11 Pro XL
It had been about 2 weeks since Google had sent over the Pixel 11 Pro XL for me to do my review (a fuller, in depth, review coming soon) and without a case it had me nervous. The phone is slippery without a case, and it's a bigger phone than I'm used to, so every day felt like myself growing more nervous about the inevitable drop.
Slots & Daggers is the right amount of simple entertainment
It wasn't too long ago I was really wondering what kind of 'mobile gaming' do we have anymore, it was so hard to find something that wasn't just ultra annoying with ads. Mobile gaming is different than console, or whatnot, it's got to be some level of simple enough to load up, but also more than likely it's something you do between your emails and phone calls that it shouldn't be too 'engaging' that you can be able to pick it up and put it down simply.

Unboxing the Pixel 11 Pro XL
Okay, so we got to see the Made by Google event yesterday, showing off the new Pixel 11 lineup, the new Watch and the Tag. Just in time for me to have received the demo unit Google has sent over this year for me to give you my thoughts. But first, let's unbox! Now, what are you getting? yesterday I shared that the pre-orders were up and I shared the specs and costs of the devices. You can check it out and compare between the lineup this year and from last years to see what the news is.
