Anthocyanes

Blog
Anthocyanes is a 100% digital magazine whose objective is to share and discover the fabulous world of wine. Aimed at a public of wine lovers, Anthocyanes wants to be a concrete, in-depth and serious magazine while keeping the fun and passion of wine. With no other source of income than our subscriptions, we wish to remain independent, free and totally free of any advertising. Because we believe that our work must be done in the strictest observance of freedom, we refuse all funding. In fact, tastings are not paid for and no advertising is published. This new "state of mind" in French wine publishing was born out of the severe but necessary need for free and independent criticism. It goes without saying that we are not accusers and believe that wine criticism is totally subject to advertising. But we are part of a vision with a strong deontology and a total editorial freedom. We don't defend any particular chapel, neither organic wines, nor biodynamic or "traditional" culture. We try to ask the right questions, to bring sensible answers and above all to make you discover what is hidden behind the wines. Because it is the most important thing, to reactivate without concession, the discovery of the women and men who make wine. Our greatest pleasure is to discover young talents, winemakers in the making so that our readers are the first to enjoy their productions. With the help of portraits, studies of terroirs, comparative tastings, in-depth articles and opinion pieces, we give a real breath of fresh air to the wine culture by focusing on the actors rather than the "people". To go beyond appearances and try to answer the questions that every wine lover (whatever his degree of knowledge) asks himself. And to make Henri Jayer's sentence our credo: "Wine is more a matter of philosophy than of technique". Source
