If Microsoft shows Your account is temporarily locked to prevent unauthorized use, the sign-in system has paused access because the account needs a security check before it can continue. You may see it on Outlook, Hotmail, Xbox, OneDrive, Microsoft 365, Windows sign-in, or any page that uses your Microsoft account. This lock appears before Microsoft accepts the sign-in as safe, so the fix is usually identity verification or admin-side unblock rather than repeated password attempts.

If the HD option is not showing in WhatsApp, first check where you are trying to send the media. The HD control belongs to the normal photo or video preview inside a WhatsApp chat. It will not appear in every media surface, and WhatsApp says HD media is not currently available for Status updates or profile pictures. Check the normal chat photo or video preview first, because the HD control does not appear on every WhatsApp sharing surface.

If Instagram only shows one bio link, or the Links section is missing from Edit profile, first make sure you are editing the Instagram profile itself. Threads, Accounts Center, and the bio text box do not control the multiple-links list on your Instagram profile. The links option belongs inside Instagram’s own Edit profile screen, and the public profile may collapse multiple saved links behind the first visible link.

If a Snapchat public Story is not showing, first check whether the account can post publicly at all and whether the Snap was sent to My Story · Public. A public Story will not appear for followers if it was posted to My Story · Friends, and a live public Story will not stay on the Public Profile forever unless you save it there separately. Check the Public Profile, the Story destination, and the viewer’s Stories page before treating this as a Snapchat app bug.

If RCS stops working in Google Messages, open Messages settings > RCS chats first and read the status exactly. A phone that says Connecting needs a different fix from one that says Not supported, Trouble connecting. Awaiting retry, or RCS chats are disabled by your carrier. The RCS status screen tells you whether the problem is carrier support, number verification, old-device registration, Fi or SIM routing, or a stuck local Messages setup. Also check whether the problem is only one chat.

If an MSI Afterburner fan curve looks saved but the GPU ignores it, the first question is whether Afterburner is actually in control of the fans. A fixed manual fan speed can work while the temperature-based curve still does nothing. A saved fan curve can still be ignored if the GPU does not support that control path, Auto mode is off, startup loading is missing, or the card is enforcing its own fan-stop rules.

If Steam shows Out of Sync, Unable to sync, a cloud conflict window, or your newest save is missing on another Windows PC, treat the warning as a save-protection message first. Steam is telling you that the local files and the cloud copy may not match. A Steam Cloud warning usually means the game does not support Cloud, sync is disabled, another device has not uploaded yet, or the local Windows copy no longer matches the cloud copy.

If the Clean Up button does not appear in Photos on an iPhone, the missing button is usually tied to Apple Intelligence, not to a broken Photos app. Clean Up depends on Apple Intelligence eligibility, setup, language support, and the correct Photos edit screen. Clean Up only appears after the iPhone qualifies for Apple Intelligence, the required local models are set up, and the photo is opened from the correct edit screen.

If the Riot Client stays on Update, Preparing Download, Installing, or a progress bar that never moves, the launcher is usually failing before the patch can finish its normal file check. A Riot update can stall because the launcher is still stuck in memory, cannot repair or write files, cannot reach the patch servers cleanly, or is waiting on Vanguard for a supported game. The loop can be misleading because the client may still open, sign in, and show your games normally.

If Add note no longer appears on Instagram Reels, the most likely reason is not a broken phone. Instagram removed Notes from feed posts and Reels, while regular Notes still live in the Inbox and on the Profile surface. Reel Notes were removed from Instagram, while regular Notes still appear from the inbox or profile on supported accounts. That means older tutorials and screenshots can be misleading.
