Castle Fine Art has announced the launch of internationally acclaimed artist and narrative sculptor David Gerstein, whose vivid, kinetic sculptures have animated public spaces and private collections around the world. Available from 24 August, the new collection introduces Castle Fine Art collectors to one of the pioneers of contemporary sculptural practice. For more than five decades, Gerstein has tested the limits between painting and sculpture.

Ha Chong Hyun 24th September, 2026 – 7th November, 2026 Lisson Gallery 27 Bell Street, London This autumn, Lisson presents a major exhibition of Ha Chong-Hyun, one of the foremost figures in postwar abstract painting. Spanning six decades of work, the exhibition traces the Seoul-based artist’s persistent investigation into the physical, conceptual and performative possibilities of paint.

Featuring a contribution from President Barack Obama, the 134-page hardcover volume brings together 190 colour images, archival material and new writing to examine a body of work shaped by Green’s first-hand experience of Obama’s historic journey to the White House.

White Cube returns to the fifth edition of Frieze Seoul, taking place from 2–5 September 2026, with a presentation spanning painting, sculpture and installation by artists including Alia Ahmad, El Anatsui, Georg Baselitz, Sara Flores, Theaster Gates, Mona Hatoum, Marguerite Humeau, Park Seo-Bo, Tesfaye Urgessa, Marina Rheingantz and Danh Vo, among others. Opening concurrently at White Cube Seoul is Míope, Marina Rheingantz’s first solo exhibition in Korea.

In 2023, Rachel Coyne painted a woman rolling her eyes. The picture is small, acrylic and oil on a wood panel, and it is called Eyeroll. Beside it in the same series sit Would Ya Go Awaayy, Don’t Be Lookin At Me, Will Yiz Ever, SIck of these Lads and Handsy. The subject of all of them is Susanna and the Elders, the biblical story in which two men hide in a garden to watch a woman bathe, then threaten her when she refuses them.

Powerhouse Arts will present the New York premiere of Masterpieces: A Virtual Experience of the Museo del Prado, an immersive virtual reality exhibition developed by ACCIONA Cultura in exclusive collaboration with Madrid’s Museo Nacional del Prado. Running from 1 October to 20 December, the experience offers a multi-sensory encounter with five of the museum’s most celebrated, and rarely travelled, works.
