Missouri Legislature Expands Practice Rights for Qualified Interior Designers
JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri (July 13, 2026) – Missouri has become the latest state to expand practice rights for qualified interior designers through updated legislation. Senate Bill 1233 modifies the state’s existing Title Act to allow qualified, licensed interior designers to practice independently and sign and seal their own documents. The bill was passed by the Missouri Legislature on May 28, 2026, and signed into law by Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe on July 13, 2026.
